About 4am this morning I feel my house rocking...I thought I was dreaming or a plane was going over head. :eek: Shook pretty good, turned out to be a 4.9 on the Richter Scale. My first earthquake...scared me half to death! I don't know how you guys do it in Cali...but I could never handle it all the time...:D

We dont actually get them "all the time". We get them sometimes and when we do....most of the time people dont even know because they are so small.

Earthquakes are cool :) Wish we had them more often

Ok...well...scared the daylights outta me! ;) I dont welcome anymore anytime soon.

The further I can stay away from Mother Nature the better. Storms, tornados, earthquakes, floods ect. Every now and then it seems like someone somewhere "up there" is pissed off. I just hope I'm not too close to the person they are after.

California's sweet, but I wouldn't want to live there. I cannot even imagine what an earthquake is like, other than what I saw in the Charlton Heston 1974 movie. Time for you to move KC... where would you go if you had to move?

I'm already probably gonna move to Reno NV. To open a new location and to get out of The Peoples Republic of California....And to get away from the political climate in this state!

yeah i felt that at 5 am also i thought my girlfriend was shaking the bed and then i realized she wasnt. I went to bed assuming exams were making my brain decay but it was actually and earthquake!

Yea, Earthquakes are definetly weird, but in '98 We had an f4 tornado hit Nashville & since then, any acts of nature scare me. Even a nasty t-storm. TN Is famous for them & tornados...why I stay I will never know...

Nevada's awsome, no real laws to worry about. You'll only have to worry near Area 51, then again KC, even the aliens wouldn't want you,LOL!

I'm with you on that one. The California liberals are much scarier and much more harmful than a silly little earthquake. ;)
