Hi every one !

WOW, what an amezin forum, I've been looking for one like that since a long time !
I have a little problem with the climate control since the mechanic changed my engine, even if it's in off position it blows hot or cold (this depending on the temperature displayed) air under the dash and on the windshield and on the two sides (small air exits that blow on the left and right windows), obviously this affects the consumption of fuel and performance of my caddy. Plus some times even if I turn off completly the engine and lock the car and go out of it, it blows air very strongly. The weirdest thing is that air never came from the front of the dash.... I hope you can help me:banghead:

I would also like to know how to run a dignostic test and know the meannings of the codes !

Finnaly, I would like to buy some parts for my caddy, especially rims or hubcaps can you recommend me a site ?

Thank you very much for you help !

I don't know what's wrong with the heater. I'd take it back to the person who changed the engine and get them to deal with it. There are a few posts that have the codes listed or links to where you can find them. Do a quick search and you should be able to find out what that one means.

Some air will always come from the vents. You can temper the air by changing the temp display. If, like you say the fan runs with car off then I suspect the power module under the hood . Probably not related to engine repair. The power module controls fan speed. If shorted, it will make the fan run all the time, car on or off.

E47 relates to a/c operation regarding freon level. System sees wrong pressure either too high or too low.
