Just saw a drop on the garage floor this past week. Damn, I had this problem with my CTS-V. Why can't the General get this pesky problem fixed?

I heard on the CTS-V board that they have a new vent hole design fix that may stop it. One can only hope.

Anyone else?

Mine leaks but nothing like the cts v. it is more like sweat and it amounts to maybe 1 drop a week. A friend of mine has our car and his leaks very slightly as well....had his pinion seal relaced this week.

I keep checking everytime I park the car or when I pull out of the garage to see if there is any evidence of a rear end leak. So far, nothing, but then again my STS-V only has a 1200 miles on it.

Nope, not yet and I've changed my rear end fluid at 3000 miles, I have 6500 on it now.

Family phys or gastroenterologist can help or refer the pt to a surgeon!! Just make sure they do not sew the leak up totally. Very uncomfortable, and people will very quickly recognize your problem without even seeing your posts here. And you thought I was full of ....

OK, to get away from the gastro discussion, my car's rear end started to leak significantly two weeks ago. 9,000 miles small puddle after driving locally; large puddle after 3+ hours day trip. Dealer service advisor said there is "bulletin #07-04-20-001" out about this which refers to "put hose on diff. and mounted vent on end of hose" on the RO.

They also found leak dripping out of pinion seal. Found PIP#3671E for leaking pinion seal. They replaced the pinion seal and refilled diff. fluid.

I have put another 200 miles on the car and so far, no more leaks.
