I have changed the pickup coil, and ignition module. I have no clue what else can be wrong, it was intermitent before, but now there is no spark at all, it cranks over. 95 deville 4.9l
I am thinking the crank sensor or knock sensor, but i have no clue where they are located..
Does anybody have any insight or has run into this problem before.
When i crank, the security light is off if i leave the key in for 5 secs and then crank..
is there a way to read the code?

Have you tried doing a search in the 4.x engines forum? There could be some info to start with that may give you some ideas.

Press and hold 'OFF' and 'WARMER' on the climate control. Codes will show on the DIC. Could also be a bad ignition coil, if I remember 4.9 setup correctly it is still a coil and distributor car. Symptoms you describe are consistent with a coil on its way out. Some auto parts stores can test them.

The 4.9 has no knock sensor.
There is no Warmer on the climate control on this car..
I got some Codes. Can anybody help.

When i go into the Error code reading.. And try to start the car in the diagnostic mode.. It actually feels like it wants to start..
It actually feels like it wants to start..
Are you SURE that this is an ignition problem and not a fuel pressure problem?
definately not fuel.. There is no spark..
I would not think starting the car in the diagnostic mode would make any difference. Obviously P012 is the problem, but I can't help much more than that. Maybe R & R the distributor.
