I have an 01 DHS and am getting codes U1016 (Loss of comm with PCM) and U1064 (Loss of comm with DIM). This was after I was driving at freeway speeds today and my steering wheel tilt adjusted to the exit position and the climate control system turned off (both by themselves-definately did not touch any of the controls). The car did not have any noticable change of speed, etc. Are these codes related to these symptoms? Any clues as to what should be checked out?

Check your battery voltage first.

I had the same thought and punched it up on the display and monitored it for the next hour or so of driving and it was consistently at 14.7 or 14.8 volts.

Have you cleared the codes? Did they reappear?
