Hey everybody. I just bought my first cadillac. It is a 1984 Deville (diesel) that needs some minor repairs. I bought it out of desperation due to the cracked heads in my Grand Prix that I had, plus the tough financial situation that college has caused me. Though this car is in rougher shape and 13 years older, it still rides smoother than my grand prix ever did. I am sold on Cadillac. Any company that can make a vehicle last for 20 years, still run smoothly, and still feel luxurious is doing something right. My girlfriend is in the market for a new car right now and I am doing everything I can to make that a cadillac. Many of the small things that I needed to fix on this car I have learned how to do on this forum, so thank you everyone. This is a wonderful web site, and thanks to it my car is already in much better condition than it was when I bought it. Keep up the good work. Dirty

ps. I could really use some more postings on diesel engines. I am clueless about how to maintain it.
