I just noticed the 1989 STS in your thing there and where it says "one rare sts". I did a google search but came up with nothing. Can you tell me about it or share a pic,im intrigued.


The STS started production in '88. Bsically, it was a Seville with a lot of extra features, such as: four place interior (dual center consoles), high gloss elm trim, ultra soft leather, different grille, wheels, standard ABS, touring suspension, performance 3.33:1 final drive ratio, etc etc. Not many of the 88-91 STS's were made, and they are often forgotten.

I got to see a white '88 STS one day at work, albeit not for very long. The leather used was of a much higher quality than the other leathers I've seen at work, it was softer, more aromatic and the high gloss wood trim looked marvelous. I'd love to pick up an 88-91 STS at some point, preferably a '90 model, because that was the last year they had a rear center console and '90 was the only year they had the 180hp 4.5 V8.
