Wow, HUGE improvement, yet at the same time still fitting of a look enough to almost be like an OEM accessory. Great choice:thumbsup:

I Like - nice job. Does your SRX have MRC? If so how does it ride now with the 20's?

Great choice. I would want those if I ever switched out of my factory 18".

Hi looks good. Did you have to recalibrate any computers for the increased tire diameter? Everthing I have read states to keep your tire diameter within +/- 3% to avoid problems. My 06's OEM 17 inch tires are 29.1 inches in diameter front and rear. I'm assuming yours were the same. Your new tires are 31 inches in diameter in front 6.5% increase and your rears are 31.9 inches in diameter 9.5% increase. I'm waiting on my 20 inch Zinik wheels on 265-45-ZR20's 29.4 inches in diameter 1% increase to arrive from the tire rack. I have the E&G double weave mesh grille its beautiful.

Thanks guys! My SRX does not have MRC...however I love the way the SRX drives now compared to the stock wheels/tires. I used to own an Acura TL so I enjoy the sporty ride of the new wheels. Also, my wife has driven the SRX since I got the new wheels/tires and she didn't mention any difference in ride! :)

my06SRX, you must be comparing the 18" wheels because with my calculations I am well below the 3% difference.
235/65R17 original front vs. 255/45R20 new front show a diameter difference of .04 according to 1010tires.com calculator.
255/60R17 original rear vs 275/45R20 new rear show a diameter difference of 2.36.

So no, I didn't recalculate anything and the TPMS worked automatically just like the original OEM wheels and tires.

May I ask how much you paid for your dual weave mesh grill?
Oh yeah, my06SRX welcome to the forum!

Hi I was going by the tire sizes you have under the pictures you uploaded. There you state a 55 aspect ratio not 45. Glad to here everthing is up to spec. I purchased my grille for $535 including shipping on e-bay (buy it now price) Through Automotive Concepts They always have them listed there. Had no problems grille arrived in a few days. Installation took me 6 hours to get it right. Could probably cut a couple hours of that now that I did in once.

Thanks for the 'head's up' on the cardomain page. I'm hoping to get the grill for my birthday in June! :D

Nice Ride. Thinking about upgrading mine as well from stock. Just haven't made up my mind.

I would think they will improve gas mileage and kill the ride.

Honestly, as in most cases, it should just be a minor detriment to both, again all depending on the tire choice and, more so, wheel weight--but also, in a lot of cases, that negative will be so minor, it's not even noticeable. That's just why you have to be careful with aftermarkets, and choosing the right mix.

Just curious why they would improve gas mileage? I actually love the firmer stiffer ride. It rides more like a car than a 'truck' with the really tall rubber with the stock wheels/tires.

If you guys are interested in these wheels, discounttiredirect has them for around $180 a wheel. That is about half price. I got four wheels and tires for around $1300. Heck, I could of paid almost that for four Goodyear/Michelin tires! :D
