i basically have a 1986 cadillac deville sedan and im upgrading the battery terminals. my question is on the negitive terminal post there are two wires the one is for the cars groung that goes to the frame and the second i dont know. on the terminal these wires are connected together so they are connected in the same location on the terminal. i want to upgrade the wire that goes to the cars frame to a 0 guage wire for a audio system im installing. if i disconnect the wire on the end where it touches the frame and replace it with the 0 guage and mount the other end on a different part on the terminal will this have any effect on the basic wiring system at hand.
