Can anyone tell me what the minimum thickness spec. is for the front rotors on a 93 Eldorado? :hmm: I removed one wheel and measured it at 1.262" right now. The look like they would clean up pretty easily, but there is no min. thickness size on them anywhere like most GM OEM rotors I have had in the past. I think these may be aftermarket by the way they look.

I have a slight pulse in the front brakes, so I want to try re-surfacing them and then I am going to cross-drill a hole pattern in them for improved cooling and stopping power. :coolgleam

Anyone have a factory shop manual with this specification? Will probably do the back brakes next, so if you have that thickness I could use that too... Thanks! :D

Here is a link to a nice Caddy owner's site that gave me the idea for the cross-drilling. :worship:

I will probably eventually buy a set of these rotors when my current ones expire, but thought I'd give this set a shot myself. Have the equipment and time so why not, right? Gonna paint my calipers to show them off behind the new SLS rims as well...
