Hey guys. I got out of my truck last night and my pops pointed out that i have some condensation in both of the headlights. I have only had the truck for less than 2 weeks.:rant2: I'm going to bring it back to the dealer and make a case for some replacements.
If the dealer replaces the headlights under warranty can i ask to keep the bad headlights as well?

The dealer will repair or replace them at their option following Cadillac warranty guidelines. They will keep the old headlights if replaced and return them to Cadillac for credit on the repair. Sorry, warranty parts are sent back to the manufacturer. I know cause I worked at dealerships for years.
As said they will not give you the warranty parts.

it is logical to keep the replaced parts, in order to get reimbursed by cadillac for replaced parts PHISICALLY.
I had condensation in my headlights first day I brought it home.
Told the dealer and they said wait a few days to see if it goes away, if not, they would Replace the headlights no problem.
It went away about a day later and have not seen any condensation since.
