My question is this, when you purchase these after factory systems for your rides don't you have to take into consideration your wattage output in proportion to the power producing capabilities of your altenator/battery. I mean don't you have to compensate with all that power output with possible upgrades to your existing power supply or add some type of auxilliary power supply to keep from overworking your altenator/generator. I'm a learning novice in this area and would appreciate some different outlooks as how to approach this issue. I have the following in my 79 Fleetwood:
-Panasonic 45/45 watt reciever/cd
-100w jvc amp to push the interiors/after market Kenwoods
-280w mdx amp to push 2 10" subs in a ported box
Nothing fancy but I get a decent sound for my budget.
