Anyone order the mats from Cadillac? I'm considering getting some just to protect the interior better. I see they're available from gmpartsdirect.com for a better price, but the shipping was unbelievable (something like $70+ dollars) so I may just order them from the dealer. My local dealer said he'd special order them and if I didn't like them he'd just return them, no charge.

We ordered the rear mats from gmpartsdirect.com. I agree, the shipping for the front mats is weird. :bonkers: I bet it is a mistake. I was going to call them to inquire, but never got around to it as our snow melted here.

I just sent off an email to gmpartsdirect with copies of the different shipping charges for the front and rear mats. The rear mats we did order had a shipping charge of $7.95. I'll post if I get a response.

Spreaking of floor mats, does anyone know if anybody makes a matching floor mat to cover the "hump" on the 2nd row? With 2 kids back there, I can see that area getting real dirty real fast. How about the 3rd row seat floor mats?

At least it was a mistake. I don't think anyone would agree to pay $70 to ship two floor mats, but then again you never know. Now that the price is fixed I might as well dish out the dough - these will come in handy where I live.

The $9.95 made a lot more sense - I couldn't imagine anyone paying the $70 shipping just for the front set. BTW, I placed an order tonight, I'll post back when I get them with a quick accessory review...

I got mine from www.mats.com (http://www.mats.com) I also got the mat for the cargo area.

They are heavy rubber, but they also have mats with carpet inserts.

The mats come in grey, tan or black

I was thinking of order the same ones.

Do the mats or cargo liner have a strong rubber smell?

Did you have to trim any of them to fit? The site seems to suggest the rear mats might need to be trimmed.

We did get the OE rear mats from gmpartsdirect. They did not have to be trimmed.

Slight rubber smell. They have been airing out for a while. My SRX has been in the body shop for the last 24 days. They are still waiting for parts from Cadillac.
