I just got my brand new 2007 Cadillac STS. It's the V6 with the AWD option and is loaded. I love it! My father is a Salesmanager at a dealership here in NY and I was waiting for a couple of weeks to get it. Black Raven with the Ebony Nuance Leather. I have a few mods going to it:

- OEM STS-V Spoiler and Grill
- 20% Tints all around
- 18in Rims (Not sure what kind)
- Xenon Headlights and maybe Fogs
- Exhaust (Corsa, Bassani, Flowmaster)
- K & N Drop In Air Filter

BTW I would like some help in getting exhaust, rims, and foglight/headlights with thoughts and ideas. Thanks!

Congrats on the car. The only way you're going to get an OEM V grille is if you purchase an entire OEM front bumper assembly. The V grille doesn't fit the standard bumper cap.

Nice! Black seems to look best for the STS interior.

better watch it with the tint as it could make the nav system inoperative. I have read here there are different kinds of tint material that won't effect the nav as the nav antenna is under the dash so better do some checking first.

Did you say that you got a replacement K&N performance filter for your STS, if you did, could you give me the part number so that I could order one, Thanks, Robert

... for about 10 minutes after you finish washing and waxing it. The funny part is that while I always saw the dust on my black vette, everyone else saw the shine. I guess that's the definition of anal.

I have a new STS; metallic tint 20% back 3 windows, 30% front 2, Nav works just fine.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have found out that the OEM front V Grill fits the standard STS front grill/bumper from my father's dealer. If I am not correct, can someone help me get a V Bumper and Grill? Also I need help in getting a nice exhaust for this car. Where should I get it because from Cadillac it's $1200 for the entire Corsa Exhaust System and I do not want to spend so much, I rather just get the mufflers. For the Xenon headlights, can I just get the bulb? My father has a guy who does professional tints, sound systems, etc. I am going to have him do my tints, headlights, and maybe fogs. I will also mention the tint film type so it doesn't intefere with Nav and all the other stuff. I have the K&N Drop In Air Filter part number, its the link below. I think it's wiser to get that rather than an entire intake (Ricer status lol), the drop in filter improves performance, gas mileage, and a nicer sound as well as not intefering with the warranty.

Thanks Again Guys!

Congrats on the new STS!
It must be nice to have connections.

Question:
Do you know if the K&N Air Filter will work on an '05 & '06 STS as well?
I'm interested in replacing mine with one but am not sure if it'll work.
Others may be interested as well.:)
I've asked in the SRX forum & also K&N but no one has answered yet.:(

Yes, it will work for all engines in the STS, SRX, and even CTS. Just go to the home page of the K&N site and then put your car year and model and will give you the specific filter.

Is the filter the same for the 6 and the 8? I thought this was the part number for the 8. I have been looking at the Corsa cat-back system for my 07 and I think this only available for the 8.

The filter may be the same but to play safe just make sure you select your engine and year on the homepage :) . Also the cat back Corsa system is available for the V6 from GM.

I have an 05' thats identical to yours (except v8). I did 50% tint on the fronts and 35% on the rear windows and back to keep it legal here. With the dark interior it still looks pretty dark. Also put a Corsa exhaust on it, sounds awsome!! not sure what a V6 will sound like though.. I looked up the corsa on the web and took it to the dealer, they came down from there price to within $50 bucks or so of what I showed them so it worked out for me to have the dealer get it. I too tried the oem V-grill but it would NOT fit, had to settle for E&G's mesh grille instead. Unless they've changed the 07' design some, I think you'll have a problem getting one to fit. Which is a shame cause I think it looks better and is actually cheaper than the E&G. Congrats on the car though, you'll enjoy it!

Do dealers still install the Corsa exhausts? Do they sell Corsa?

Mine did, corsa is the only exhaust that GM backs as an "official" replacement so I would think they all should sell and install them.
