so two questions for you...

does your XLR also not have the capacity to change "driver 1" and "driver 2" to the names of the people unlike all other cadillacs? man that bugs me.

Also, how does it do keeping time? Has not happened recently, but when it sat for a week while we were out, it was not the correct time when we started it. probably went into battery conservation mode, but i jsut want to make sure.

so far, thing is a dream to drive.

I just purchased mine a few weeks ago (Red with black interior, license "CARGASM"). It gets a lot of attention, and is really a ball to drive. I'm 6'4", so the distance to the foot controls is a little short for my liking, but the room past the brake-accellerator lets me stretch out. The "heads up" display is super, particularly when the distance-following cruise control is activated. I've not yet read the manual, so I don't know if one can personalize the "driver 1" feature. I'll let you know.

If it does have the ability to change the names of the drivers, you probably have to have a dealer do it. I know that on the Deville you have to use a TechII computer to program in the names. There's no way to do it through the user interface or a regular OBDII tool.
