RAISS (ram air kit):
Wow is all I have to say! There is a very obvious 'seat of the pants' increase in throttle response over the K&N FIPK. Very easy to install and sounds mean as hell.

18X8.5 OZ Nova wheels w/ Dunlop Sport Max 235/50/18:
With this tire size I gained half an inch over the 255/45/18 Michelin Pilots I had before. They ride great, very quiet! The wheels are absolutely wicked! As always, I had to be unique and got some Caddy centers on it...
What do you all think?
Take care,
Elias :thumbsup: Cadillac Giovanni 03-30-07, 12:57 AM That is rather "bitchin'", If I do say so myself. Benzilla 03-30-07, 01:09 AM Hmm, I like it. The rims are the perfect size to pull off that look.
Well done! :) slk230mb 03-30-07, 01:24 AM The more I try to hate those rims, the more I love them. I would have gone with centercaps that matched the emblems on the rest of the car though. 96Fleetwood 03-30-07, 10:10 AM Thanks!
My next modification will be buying a CTS-V and putting the Fleetwood to show duty only :thumbsup: slk230mb 03-30-07, 10:15 AM Thanks!

I can't wait to see how you mod a CTS-V. 90Brougham350 03-30-07, 11:26 AM Outstanding! Looks excellent, can't wait to see it in person in May! urbanski 03-30-07, 11:40 AM gotta say
i really LOVE it!!! caddycruiser 03-30-07, 01:29 PM Love it too, and as I said in the other forum, now with the slightly toned down silver vs. chrome look and tuner style, it very much looks even closer to a factory done tuner-sport version. And yes, the RAISS is just oh so pretty, which is something to say when it's an intake! Old Fleetwood 03-30-07, 02:15 PM IMHO those are absolutely the most beautiful aftermarket wheels I have EVER seen on a FWB.
But that is the most unusual #20 wheel weight I have ever seen. 96Fleetwood 03-30-07, 06:15 PM :thumbsup: Thanks gentlemen! Trying to keep her classy yet have some "oomph" under the hood codewize 03-30-07, 08:50 PM All I can say is AWESOME. Wow a job well done. Red_October_7000 03-30-07, 09:57 PM Those are the best aftermarket rims I've ever seen on a Fleetwood. The size is perfect. Just perfect. Ram air is certainly different! Let us know how that affects things like cooling, etc. Old Fleetwood 03-30-07, 11:05 PM Elias -
When will we see a scan of your 1/4 mile tape? 96Fleetwood 03-31-07, 12:09 AM I have my dyno appointment on April 21st and the 1/4 mile shortly after that :thumbsup: I~LUV~Caddys8792 03-31-07, 08:20 PM Love those wheels! I never would have imagined BBS style wheels would look good on an FWB, but it looks awesome! Eldo1953 03-31-07, 09:20 PM Looks killer!! My only recommendation would be to remove the sticker from the rear windows. Stickers do not flow with the outside of a FWB. Benzilla 03-31-07, 09:35 PM I didn't even notice those, what are the and why are they there? 96Fleetwood 04-01-07, 06:00 AM Stickers: Viper alarm and ISSCA Cadillacboy 04-01-07, 02:20 PM I like it those new rims are outstanding :thumbsup: Old Fleetwood 04-01-07, 04:48 PM Elias -
I just noticed, after re-reviewing the pix of your GORGEOUS vehicle;
- are your backup lights "yellowing" or is it just a reflection of a dull day? :confused: 96Fleetwood 04-01-07, 06:07 PM Elias -

Acutally they have been getting very small stress cracks in them and at times collect a bit of water. I bought a brand NOS pair of them from eBay a year ago but haven't got around to pulling the rear bumper to change them. Very keen eye you have there! :thumbsup: Old Fleetwood 04-01-07, 11:58 PM Elias -
Not a keen eye. It's more like spotting a hangnail on a beautiful woman. Benzilla 04-02-07, 12:30 AM It's funny how different people notice different thinks, I noticed that he didn't dress his spare. slk230mb 04-02-07, 09:28 AM It's funny how different people notice different thinks, I noticed that he didn't dress his spare.
It's also rim face down, so if he did the trunk liner would get full of tire shine. arivera 04-05-07, 12:39 AM that's a beautiful machine, Elias
I'm in chicago too. i would love to see that car in person. your fleetwood is the kind of cadillac my fleetwood wants to be when it grows up.:) 96Fleetwood 04-05-07, 09:06 AM that's a beautiful machine, Elias

Best looking Fleetwood yet IMO. :worship: The_Hearsecutor 04-19-07, 12:11 AM Acutally they have been getting very small stress cracks in them and at times collect a bit of water. Removing the rear bumper is not necessary to replace the back-up lenses. |
