whoever said they got it on in an hour either had the perfect grill/header panel ever made, or it's waaay off. this thing drove me insane, at a shop, with another mechanic helping. but when it was all said and done it really looks sweet, pics don't do it justice, my rims should be here by Mon-Tues, i'll upload some of those as well (Factory 17's chromed)

if i didn't have my TBSS I would've bought the sport model, but $460/mo is as much as i can spend w/o sacraficing other things in our lives, i don't work to pay for cars (a long time ago i factored in $1000/mo on car payments knowing if I could afford that I would always have us in 2 new cars that were decent, and that's the way it's been for the last 5 yrs. before i started working this job i had to own one new and one older used car and that sucked, I am grateful we do OK, I don't take what little we have for granted)

here's where I work. we have an AWD Mustang Dyno..lots and lots of fun ;)

I have never seen so many TBSSs in one place.

It (TBSS) was a definite consideration when I got my 06 AWD N* SRX this summer. Unfortuneatly, I felt I needed a third row. I only use it about 10 times a year, but can't live without it during those times. I often question my decision and your photos do not help!

I thought this would be a good "side by side" comparo of the "Supreme Strut grill" against the lowly E&G lol!
seriously I would like to hear some comments on what looks nicer, to you... I am kinda torn,
I have the E&G and wouldn't spend that much on a strut, and I'm not sure it looks better than the E&G??

Hip is something on me that I hope doesn't go out. Hey, I have a Cadillac, a Lincoln, and a cane.

I have always liked the Strut grills on the Escalades on Unique Whips (show on Speedvision) but I don't like it on the SRX that much, unless that one is just a plain design with the emblem, not one Strut would build, inturn short changing them somewhat?

are u in the beechwood nj area? some of those tbss look familiar.. my sisnlaw lives there and she gots a charger srt8 thats been eatin by a ss once or twice...lol

Our opinion could be a little bias, but the E&G looks great!! Well worth the effort!! The chrome plating of the E&G matches the OEM much better!! Not to mention you saved thousands of coin!

Yeah i'm in the Toms River area, and yeah, there are plenty of modded TBSS's out here, unless your SRT8 is packin a blower or spray it would be best to "lay low" lol.. we've done H/C, Kooks LT's, Vig Converter on a GC Srt8 and it can't hang with the TBSSwith identical mods, Chryslers have practically ZERO tuning capability limiting it's modding potential..

what a bitch to put in (properly), the fitment was not what I expected from a near $500 grill, it still isn't "perfect" but it's acceptable. to anyone looking at the car, it's good (I am just too anal) when I start pointing a couple things out they look at me like I am insane:thepan: ....
