View Full Version : prefabricated exhaust system limousine rider 03-27-07, 12:29 PM Im woundering if thay make a prefabricated exhaust system for my 1971 fleetwood factory limo series 75 its has a 472, i need it to start right at the manifolds to the rear of the car, anyone have a link or place where i could find the right parts and pipe bends for the year of my car? Or just brake down and take it to a shop?
:koz: limousine rider 03-28-07, 12:17 AM Can anyone help me with this please ? a link to a muffler manufacture or parts shop ?
Thankyou buffalo 03-28-07, 01:29 AM I would say your best bet is taking it down to a shop and having them do it.. Last time I did, the guy only charged me labor for 2.25" from the manifold to rear of the car. eldorado99 03-28-07, 03:52 AM When I got mine done (manifold to tip) it cost me $275.00 at a local shop for 2.5", that's probably your best bet. limousine rider 03-28-07, 08:16 AM Thankyou for the replies
I'ed prefer to do it my self with a prefabricated system if i can find the right kit, i see alot of kits on diffrent sites ive looked at but i want to make sure i find the right kit the first time, i was hoping someone can steer me in the right direction for this.
:quagmire: limousine rider 03-29-07, 12:36 PM Well im not having to much luck finding a prefab .. Theres got to be someone on here that knows somthing ? zonie77 03-29-07, 07:15 PM Have you looked for individual replacement parts as opposed to a system? You might have some luck that way. limousine rider 03-30-07, 12:33 AM Have you looked for individual replacement parts as opposed to a system? You might have some luck that way.
Yes i have seen parts that are individual but im worryed there not going to fit or be wrong alltogeather, do you have any links to a site by chance or know of one? zonie77 03-30-07, 07:49 PM Why would you think they wouldn't work? They would be stock replacement and fit better than any kit I've ever used. limousine rider 03-31-07, 03:14 AM Why would you think they wouldn't work? well i say that because i dont know all the right names for all the pipeing sections and from what ive seen on there parts list they dont have all the parts im looking for, i have found a shop they might beable to help with my problem thats if they have the right dementions for my ride. Do you know of any shops that could help, do you have a link? Sasquatch 04-02-07, 08:57 AM How about removing your old exhaust, bring it to the shop you mentioned, and have them duplicate it? Might work. limousine rider 04-05-07, 06:15 AM How about removing your old exhaust, bring it to the shop you mentioned, and have them duplicate it? Might work.

Thankyou so much, now i got to pray he can help me with my problem :):):):):):) Brother_B 04-07-07, 02:11 AM The manual for my year (1969) says everything is the same for all the different vehicles except that "On the Sixty Special, Fleetwood Seventy-Five, and Commercial Chassis, a longer intermediate pipe is used because of the additional length of these vehicles." (Eldorado is different too.) But they all use the same crossover Y-exhaust pipe, muffler, muffler-to-resonator pipe and resonator. I bet the old man will tell you that. limousine rider 04-07-07, 07:39 AM The manual for my year (1969) says everything is the same for all the different vehicles except that "On the Sixty Special, Fleetwood Seventy-Five, and Commercial Chassis, a longer intermediate pipe is used because of the additional length of these vehicles."
