Needed to run the 2 mile in 15:54.
I ran it in 15:55.
Slightly pissed. That is all. Passed all the other events.

I was never in the best shape but I could do the shit. Just pissed me off though. Granted soccer is a running game. I got sick of it, and joined the bowling team. We won two years in a row. I had played soccer in rec teams and small traveling teams for years since I was about 8 or so. My dad used to coach my team...that was cool. Too much work though. I enjoyed bowling much more. Get on a bus...head to the alley....bowl a few game...eats some nachos...and go home. My kind of sport. samoskacts03 03-29-07, 10:02 PM SA have someone fast who you depise in your unit pace ya, have him run like a 14 minute 2 mile pace, and i know youll have the motivation to out run the sh*tbag lol pt is consistency, i do pushups all day long, last pt test i took i did 95 pushups in 1:20 and got up and walked away lol the cadillac kid 03-29-07, 10:18 PM i did 95 pushups in 1:20 and got up and walked away lol HOLY EFFING CRAP! military style or reg? i can only do b/w 45-65 military style... even that rapes my tri's.... ahhh bro ur crazy! EcSTSatic 03-29-07, 11:26 PM I'm not sure how it is now, but 30 years ago a perfect Marine Corps PFT was 300 pts. You had to do 80 situps in 2 mins, 20 pullups and run 3 miles in 18 mins. I made a perfect score once in Japan. The other times I usually scored in the 280-290 range. It has been easy to stay in shape over the years but I doubt I'd score over 200 now. :showoff: the cadillac kid 03-29-07, 11:29 PM thats amazing -- i truly applaud u!!! Albertan 03-30-07, 12:00 AM If you young guys keep at it, you can run for many years. I took it up a little over a year ago but I'm now in better shape than I have ever been. Best time for 5KM (3.125 mile) is 24min 20 sec. This year I want to go under 24 min. All the good old runners do 10KM in 45 minutes. The young guys go way faster. Note: I'm 57. the cadillac kid 03-30-07, 12:06 AM i hope i can still walk a mile when im 57... yet alone do a 10k in anything under than a decade! samoskacts03 03-30-07, 01:01 AM ecstatic thats awesome 3 miles in 18 minutes, albertran congrats on your new found hobby and staying fit and defying age lol kid-abs are a lifestyle lol those of us that drink and party and eat good meals once in a while will never get that pop in the abs again lol for instance my diet over here in iraq is f*n messed up so i no longer have a 6 pack, its just like a block of muscle without the pop lol seriously about 8 percent body fat is what your looking for to get that creased look in the midsection, ill be there again someday :sigh: the cadillac kid 03-30-07, 11:41 PM i have my six pack... its just not as defined as it used to be -- before, i could just stand there and KAPOW in ur face... now i gotta flex a bit lol ya i know partying and eating habits are wat kill me -- but i cant sacrifice that stuff you know!!! nothing like bein able to pig out every once in a while... aright i'm out of this convo lol see u back in the car forums boys!
