here is my story not to long ago i was looking to buy a shark fin to put on top of my cts. i seen one that i like and went to buy it and then went to pay for it. when i went to pay for it it told me some BS that the buyer wants me to have my address verified so i tried to do that filled out all the info then it told me some more BS that i am already registered. so i just bought a antenna for japan instead. just right not i went to log in and it gave me some thing like the image below. then i have a message form my message box thing.


What does the mean??? how can i fix it. what are they going to do to me?

Log into PayPal, and on the left side of the screen there should be a small menu. Under "Enhance Account" if I remember correctly you should see "Verify Address" or "Get Verified", one of those. Click it and just follow the instructions. They will call your house and ask you a few questions to make sure you actually live there. Most sellers (including me) require a verified address, just prevents any future hassles like what you're going through right now.

So what you're saying is that you 'bought' something but didn't pay for it? You screwed up. That's all.

Right on verifying. Some sellers will only sell to verified accounts. It's not that big of a deal but may take a day I think. It's just a way of proving beyond reasonable doubt that you are who you say you are and the address you've given is real and is yours.

That's all. And yes it looks like you agreed to buy this item and didn't pay for it. Which I'm sure you agree with. Unless the seller is willing to work with you on it, you become obligated to pay for the item as soon as you click Buy It Now OR when you win a bid.

Just send me your credit card number, your date of birth, and your social security number and I'll get it straightened out for you.

Buying without paying on eBay is a violation of a legal contract, your item is probably not too expensive but the seller has the right to sue you if he wants to. If you don't pay your eBay and Paypal account will be siezed, and since your cedit card and address is on there you're gonna get harassed.

I'm not sure if Paypal is linked to your credit score...

Nothing's going to happen to you except probably kicked off ebay. Use a money order of personal check if you don't want to get involved with Paypal.

The worst you will get for not paying is a strike against you and a bad feedback from the seller! If you get 3 strikes ebay just kicks you out! IMHO it is better to pay through paypal cause then you are covered if there would be a dispute in the future.
