My 05 STS currently has the stock 17inch allow rims...

I was looking into replacing them with the chrome V Series rims, my question is, as they currently come with 18inches in front and 19inches in the rear... will I have any fitment issues or fender rubbing if i put 19s in the front and back?

Also if I switch from 17s to 19s all around will I need any adjustments to the suspension?

Thanks guys!

Hi,
you overlooked one thing, the standard STS has 5 lug nuts but the CTS V and STS V has 6 lug nuts, so they wont fit.

One way you could do it, the XLR V rims has 5 lug nuts and they would fit the STS.

I have on my export STS V8 the 6 lug nuts wheels with Brembo brakes and all around 255/45 18 tires.
On my XLR I have the XLR V wheels and they fit perfect and look great.

these look amazing!... i am assuming if 19s fit on the front of an XLR, they will also be fine on the front of the STS, correct?

Hello,
Actually the XLR & XLR-V wheels have a different bolt pattern then the STS application. The XLR is a 5x120 and the STS is a 5x115. The STS-V is a 6x115. Although the wheels certainly look great, they will not fit on the STS. Please let us know if there are any questions.
Thank you,
