I got a real nice set at Parts America I think it was. It's metal, chrome and has the emblem and script on it. 1 piece is a full frame with 4 holes and the other is what they called an accent bar, which is basically just the top portion of the frame.
It's pretty nice and I was amazed at finding something so cool is such a generalized discount store.
Here's the kit I got. I found it at Amazon

That's actually pretty cool. I've never had an issue finding a 4 hole variety (all we've ever used are), but then again, we only usually get solid stainless or chrome ones without any words or emblems.

Why do you need 4 screw holes anyway? Your car has the gas filler back there! Mine only have two screws.
MINE HAS THE 4 SCREWS, I NEED TO KEEP THE PLATE FROM RATTLING, I MEAN, THE 2 12'S IN THE BACK WANT TO UNLEASH THEIR POTENTIAL,
ALL I HAVE RIGHT NOW IS A MITSUBISHI FRAME 8( HAHA CAUSE THATS WHAT CAME WITH IT.
THANKS CODEWIZE, I LIKE THAT,, HOWEVER I NEED SOEMTHING MORE

The all chrome version of this adornes my frint plate.....
And this is around my rear plate, the only thing that sucks is the little skulls scuff against the bottom when my gas door is opened......

Oh I just realized what you're putting this on. If this is going on the back, don't waste your money. It won't fit. Only the thinnest of thin almost non existent frames will fit back there.
Trust me I went through this on my 93 Brougham
really? ^^^, i swore i had a plate like the one i posted above on my 89 sedan deville

89 SDV and 94 FWB are two completely different cars. Almost any frame you put on there will scrape the crap out of the bumper filler panel and cause you to only be able to open the fuel door about half way.
It's sucks but that's how it is.

Is it actually worse than the 1977-1992 version?

That I don't know. I had a 78 years ago but I don't think I had a frame on that. What I can tell you is I have a very thin chrome frame on my 93 and it, along with the screw covers rub the filler every time I open it and I can't open it beyond half way. It's actually a bitch to put gas in the car.
The frame I have is just barely a frame at all it's so thin, but it's just enough to finish off the edge of the plate.
