That's nice they managed to pick him up because they lost damn near everybody else. The coaching staff is in ruins, they have no decent RB since they got rid of Jones. Sorry but Dallas is going to own the NFC this year

The Cowboys scored 425 points last season, the most by a Cowboys team since the Super Bowl winning 1995 season and the fifth highest in club history. Like Julius Jones becoming the team's first 1,000-yard rusher since Emmitt Smith in 2001. Like Terrell Owens' 13 touchdown receptions tying Bob Hayes (1966) for the second most in a single season and missing the club record set by Frank Clark in 1962 by just one. Like producing two, 1,000-yard receivers (Owens and Terry Glenn) in a single season for the first time since 1979 and only the second time in club history. And like producing those two 1,000-yard receivers, along with a 1,000-yard rusher in the same season for the first time since 1979 and only the second time in club history. Let's see, the 52 touchdowns scored are the fourth highest in club history, and the most since scoring 59 in 1983. The 3,836 passing yards are the most since 1985 (3,861), and the third most in club history. The 5,777 total yards are the most since 1995 second most since 1983, and sixth highest all time. The team's 63.1 pass-completion percentage is the team's best since 1996. And the Cowboys' 336 first downs ties for fifth highest in club history, and just one short of being tied for fourth and three shy of tying for third. The Cowboys were the NFL's most effective red-zone offense in 2006, scoring touchdowns at a 60.3-percent rate inside the 20, and when it came to third down conversions, their 48.8 percentage was second only to Indianapolis (56.1). That they scored at least 17 points in 15 of 16 regular season games was matched only by San Diego. And that they produced at least 300 yards total offense in 14 consecutive games tied the third longest streak in club history. Owens, Glenn and Witten all caught at least 60 passes this past season marks only the fourth time in club history for a trio to accomplish that. Marion Barber's 14 rushing touchdowns, and 16 combined, are the most touchdowns scored in a single season since Emmitt Smith scored what was then an NFL record 25 in 1995. Barber's 16 touchdowns ranked first in the NFC, with Owens' 13 third, and they became only the team's second rusher-receiver tandem with at least 10 touchdowns each in a single season (Michael Irvin-Smith in 1995). So we have the offense, all we need now is the defense. Hopefully with Wade coaching his version of the 3-4 and also actually having a history for teaching it that it will give us the edge we need. We addressed 2 needs so far with the free agent market with dumping Bledsoe and picking up Brad Johnson so that we have a veteran for a backup and a QB (unlike Bledsoe) that actually moves in the pocket and doesn't just sit there. And with signing Leonard Davis that should help out our offensive line big time. Chicago had their run this season and they couldn't complete the job, now it's Dallas' turn. BTW with Lance Briggs basically saying F.U. to the Bears and not wanting to play for them anymore you guys are going to have a huge hole to fill with losing the Pro Bowl linebacker as well as losing Tank Johnson for 4 months because of his jail sentence. But thanks for taking Archuleta out of Washington! Now we only have to worry about the Giants at this point and even with them we don't have to worry too much

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Ken Hamlin is meeting with the Cowboys today. So hopefully something comes of that. Him and Roy Williams would make for a nasty combo
