I have a 1998 DeVille with about 135,000 miles on it. I bought it at just under 100k. The only repairs I have done are little electrical irratants - window switch - power antenna - window switch AGAIN, remote trunk release, new tires, oil changes etc. I plan to drive it about 5,000 miles next month on a great trip out west. What things are absolute must check before I launch? I dearly love this car and how it drives.

When I was young and single I had a 1955 Cadillac ambulance which I took on my honeymoon driving from Maine to Calif. since it was the middle of July the Nevada desert was just a bit warmish NO AC.
