As a former critic (Looks too much like a blown up CTS) I must say I am overall pleased. I disagree with the disparaging comments on the interior. My 99 Seville interior is gorgeous and doesn't look like a Rolex Daytona or Breitling watch. The 05 follows that approach. I too would like to see larger (at least 18 inch standard) tires with a more aggressive rim. The exterior fit and finish looks markedly improved (Always considered this a weak spot in comparison to the German and Lexus imports). Protective door moldings (It must be done right) are a definite plus, as a three week old ding from an SUV or truck is unbelievably discouraging. Can't wait to see one in person. Cadillac will sell a slew of these. I see alot of Bimmer folks coming over as most folks I know don't like the new BMW style effort, in particular, the Sherman Tank looking 7 Series design now leaking down into the 3 and 5 Series models. They are great cars, but who drives ugly cars!

As an owner of 2 STS's and a DTS I must admit I was pissed when I saw the original pics they released for the press. It did not look like the car I had seen on the Autobild.de website at all. This car looks awesome and I bet even better in the flesh. I love the interior too. Lets not forget the 98-present STS won several interior design awards before we start whining. With the Bose 5.1 stereo playing in the background and the Northstar roaring I will be in heaven. It is funny though the new GS is offering AWD for the first time but only in the 6 cylinder model but the STS is offering it only on the V-8 models. It should also look nice in V-series trim GM remember 500 hp is now the competitive number for full size super saloons do not forget that!
