Hello all. I've been lurking here for the past few weeks. I just bought a 2007 about two weeks ago. It's Silver on black with the 3.5, lux package, Bose edition. There is a small square insert on the rear bumper on the passenger side. Anybody know what that is for? I was thinking like a backup sensor or camera, but I do not know if that is an option some cars have or not. Also, I'd love to have some chrome tips. I saw a few threads about getting some on E-bay. The stock tips bend down, so I was wondering how the new tips would intall straight out. Thanks. :)

Its 3.6L by the way ;) and as for the square insert, I have no idea.

BTW Congrats on your new car!

That is where tow trucks can engage your chassis and pull your vehicle onto the flat bed from what I was told....

Yea that stupid little square fell off the other day. I just bought my car and this stupid piece already falls off on the road somewhere?? WTF.

I heard it's for towing also.

Anyone know if I can order this piece somewhere? The dealer probably charges $50 for a replacement. I'm about to go jack one off the next CTS I see in a parking lot. LoL. Sorry if it's one of youz guyz. :alchi:
