After going through almost a year of Cadillac withdraw I found my FWB today.:worship: It is a 93 one owner with 61,000 miles and clean. It was purchased locally and then just traded in on a new car. Now I can join back in the forum again.:bouncy: I sold my 92 Deville last year and have kicked myself ever since.:tisk: It was just as clean as this one but I have reallly always wanted a Fleetwood. I just hope it is as good as the Deville.
Here is the new one I am picking up on Saturday.

Nice! I don't remember you, but that's probably just because I don't go in the FWD section much.

What color is that exactly?

It's a dark blue I guess you would call it. Thanks, glad to be back.:)

Absolutely Gorgeous!!

It WILL be better than your Deville!! Especially with the L05/4L60 combo

Actually, it's more green, called "Slate Green Metallic" and the rarest color for that year:

Saw that one on Ebay recently, and liked it a lot--congrats:thumbsup:

I thought I saw some green in there! Sort of a teal I guess you could say.

Sweet car! Love that color, slate green is an awesome color! Great to have ya back, how does it compare (in YOUR opinion) to the '92 deVille? What color was your '92? Coupe or Sedan?

It was a sedan and was white with a blue top, some sort dressed up option with the fake covertable top and the gold enblems. It showed some company that modified it. I loved it but really didn't care for the fwd on it and certianly did not like changing the water pump. I drove the 93 home today and it is great, rides like a dream and plenty of power. I did like the mpg computer on the 92 but I can get by without it. I have checked over the entire car today and can not find one thing that needs attention. I can say this ebay seller is great. He changed the oil, had every thing on the car serviced, checked every light on the car and assred me that he could not find a thing wrong with it and sure enough it was just as he said. I normally don't buy cars on ebay but this one was just as nice as he claimed. So far I am lovin being back in the Cadillac.

Congrats, both on finding a Fleetwood in a rare color and in such great shape, and for being lucky enough to get it from a good seller:thumbsup:

Hope it provides you many years of reliable and cheap to maintain (L05 specialty!) service and luxury.

Thanks. I guess I will find out how it runs on Friday as we are leaving Florida for a drive straight through to Oregon and then returning back the next weekend. Might as well give it a good workout right away I guess.:) I just couldn't make myself take the trip in the wife's Nissan Sentra.:thehand:

Ohh, I wonder if yours was a spring edition. Did it have blue leather and door handles painted to match the body color? I wish I had a cloth top on mine, I just got the standard metal roof.

I believe there will be a significant difference in the quality of ride comfort between the Cadillac Fleetwood and the Nissan Sentra.
However, I could be wrong.:bigroll:

OK rlyons; youve had the car home for a while now; where are the NEW pics? ;)
I have a question for you; why did you pic that 93? I looked it up on ebay and saw the other Fleetwoods that were for sale at that time; 94s 95s 96s; so what was it about this one? Color, mileage, engine, location,
Just curious; dont get me wrong .. that thing is beautiful and now Im second guessing my color choice .. I love both those greens; yours and the Calypso green are just gorges .. I was looking for a 94-96 when I found my 93 because I wanted the LT1, but mine had a 1 week old new motor in it with a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty from NAPA so I bought it.
