SOUNDS REASONABLE - YOU WILL ENJOY THE SRX.

NOTE:I also got true GM employee pricing on mine. So, my price as a comparison may not be totally fair.

I got mine 2 days ago for $500 below invoice (verified through Cars.com) for 39mos $1000 down (covering NJ's ridiculous 4 yr $360 reg fee, first payment, etc.) eating $682 in old payments from my trade, using $2440 in GM card bonus$$$$ and am paying $468 all inclusive.. SRX V6 AWD Lux/Premium seat pkgs & pwr pedals $42,700 sticker.. hows that?

Picked my wifes up last friday. 07 v-6 AWD, white diamond, luxury package, 18" wheel sport package, I like the grill and extra chrome. GM discount @ $539.00 month/24 months, 10,000 miles year. That's all she drives. Passed on the 39 month at $510.00 as I would then have to put on tires and probably brakes before I turned it in. Also hear that the 2009's will be re-styled. Above payments include 6-3/4% tax.

... Also hear that the 2009's will be re-styled...

... or gone per rumors that 08 or 09 may be the last year for the SRX.

This is a reprint of an earlier post of mine:

I just got my 07 SRX lease last week, here is my deal:

V6 Luxury Collection
-Luxury package
-Premium Seating Package
-Ultraview
-Rear Air
-Power adjust pedals
All Wheel Drive
Infrared premium paint
Wood Accented steering wheel and shift knob
Cashmere int.
Custom paint pin strip

Total MSRP $45,000

I was able through a friend that works for GM to get a GMS price. Now with the GMS price it is the same no matter what dealer you go through. I live in the Detroit area and was able to check this out with about 6 dealers, all came up with the same deal.

The GMS price was $40,195
minus the rebate of $2750
left it with total of $37445 to base the lease on

I put $6000 plus start ups $1395 that included 1st mon. registation fees, acq fees, plates and so on.

So with a total of My $7195 up front, I have a 24 month 18,000 mile/yr lease with 23 payments of $305/month. Now I understand most do not want to put that much up front, but if I wanted less up front, for every $1000 less down, it would have added about $40/month to my payment.

For me, I needed the 18000 miles/year, so the shorter term of 24 months works out better than the same money dpwm for a 36 month, 18000/yr lease.

Hope this helps a little,

Tom, I'll buy your grille & rims when your lease is up!!!

What concerns me is.......if you crash you are out the money you put down.

I need 30K miles a year. Was quoted nearly $900 a month for an 07 sport.
Needless to say, I didn't go that route.

I also drive about 30K miles a year, so I'm leasing two vehicles for 15k miles each. I'm the only driver and I figure if I keep the lease end dates about a year apart, I can manage the miles so I use up what I pay for and not pay extra. Yeah, it's expensive but hopefully it will keep me from getting bored too soon and cars are my only vice.

Hi Jim,
If in January 09 there is no more SRX....you got first shot at the grille and wheels...

The deal about the chance of a crash concerned me as well. When I was making the deal, I brought this up and they said I wouldn't be out any money, the car would be replaced. Now maybe the details are not quite like I believe, but I'll check it out more.

well looks like I need to get my own grille and rims. 2009 will be the last year of the current body style. 2010 will bring in a vehicle much like the pic in another post (new caddy wagon) as well as a smaller wagon version.
