I'm in the midst of trying to decide what to do with my car. And I have to say, I spoke with Dennis at Boston Suspension. He's a nice guy, and nearly half of his transactions are on eBay. His feedback is very positive. You can't fake that. I showed the kit to my mechanic, and he too, gave it the thumbs up.
So my vote would be to go with Boston Suspension.

I haven't purchased either, but I have talked to Boston Supension both via phone and e-mail. They have been extremely helpful to me in my quest for new air shocks for the rear of my '94 Deville.

if they are plain old airshocks in the rear, what kind of ride quailty would they give?
I have the Boston kit on my sls. I ordered direct from Dennis and he knocked $10 off of the ebay price. The ride was very rough when I first put them on and it was very cold. After 500 or so miles the ride got much better. I had the swaybar bushings replaced the other day and that helped too. I don't believe you will ever get the ride that you had with air. The rear shocks are Gabriel. I am satisfied with Boston but Arnott might be good to. Hope this helps.

I think I might try the Arnott parts so it all looks stock and not tamperd with. That way if I ever trade my ride in they would not be able to tell at a first look. My struts are fine for now but I know sooner or later I will need to do this conversion.

I forgot to add that if you ever found good electronic shocks for cheap it would be easy to go back without needing to do a re wire.

Any idea how it would be if I were to replace the just front struts with passive ones and leave the old rear air ones in place? (i know the rear ones should be replaced too)
I ask this because I came across a place that sells KYB's for about $66 a piece plus shipping. I could just the little plug in thingy so the dash light doesnt come on.
My fronts are in need of replacing, bad. whatcha think?

You should be OK replacing just the fronts for the time being. If the backs are totally shot I would try to get them soon as well. Please let us know which KYB you use and how easily they install. Also would be interested to know how the ride is affected.
