Hello all. I have another BOSE question for all of you who are familiar with the system. I have a '92 STS and I recently had the rear speakers stolen out of the trunk:banghead: . Th car had 6x9's with the BOSE gold system, and when I whent to look to see what I replace them with, I found the connectors have 4 wires each. When I looked into it further, I've heard that these speakers each have an on board amp. Does anyon e know if there is a way to switch in another decent 6x9 and how you would wire it? Even better than that would be if any of you guys doing an audio swap want to sell your old 6x9's, please let me know. Lastly, if anyone knows if BOSE still sells these direct, that would help too. I think the rule goes that you cannot run aftermarket speakers on the bose system...I'm almost positive in fact...I'd sell you mine, but one of them (i never really tested whether it was the speaker or the amp on that speaker) is blown.
