I know this is probably a very stupid question, because I have actually flushed it before. But How do you flush the radiator till its running clear water on the opposite end with a garden hose? Where do you connect it? I flushed it 3 times, my process was this, drain radiator, fill with fresh stuff, get the car warmed up and the thermostat all the way open, let it cool down, drain again, and refill again, and I did this three times. And then about 6 weeks later there was still some brown rust coming up from the old heater core that went bad!! That has since been replaced, and I thought I had thoroughly flushed it. So I wanted to see how everyone else does.

I use the flush kit that Prestone makes. It has a T fitting to hook the garden hose up to, plus it has the detergent to clean the system out.
