Hey all, I delved into my first "engine" project on the Caddy. My throttle was sticking, badly. So I pulled the intake snorkle, and the MAP. Then I shot a bunch of throttle body cleaner on a piece of denim (I like the density of denim, especially at the seams, compared to a normal shop cloth). I wiped all along the bore and both sides of the blade. The throttle feels a heck of a lot better now.
If you have some miles on your car, you may want to give this a shot. The job takes less than 15 minutes. Just be real careful with the sensor, as they are delicate (especially the screen portion).
