I too am attempting the install of the Nav. I have the same questions as above- can I buy the backup camera from Cadillac and plug it in at the back and it'll work? What other mods? Do I need a module? GPS antenna, what part number needed?

What is the part number needed to do this install? Escalade install BTW, I don't know if that matters.

The Escalade also needs a cutout in the silver piece that holds the cadillac emblem.

Re: Installing Factory Nav Radio into 2007 Escalade

So if I follow those instructions above it's basically done? How about GPS antenna, how much to supply that?
I think you had a step by step on that one too. I'll find it...

Re: Installing Factory Nav Radio into 2007 Escalade

I'll match it to the other ones I have for the exterior look...oh what about this module under the seat, do I need that or do Escalades already have it?

Re: Installing Factory Nav Radio into 2007 Escalade

camera module at the dealership is around $40 and change, but you also need to make a plug for it which is a pain. I have some home made modules, I will include it with camera.
On tuesday, I'll be doing Nav and Camera on 07 lade. I'll make some pics for you and everyone else who'll need it.
GPS Antenna I can get for you $40

Re: Installing Factory Nav Radio into 2007 Escalade

Thanks, but my 2 emails to Mark there have not been replied to. I am in a bit of a rush to get this done and being in Canada I know shipping will be a week-10 days from experience with Ebay

that strange. I did reply.
anyway. I'm going to insert 2 video files links. the one with GPS antenna install is the one I did on GMC. You do same exactly thing on Escalade. the only thing is, clips on escalades are a little bit tighter for some reason

PS:
I wish there was a way to insert video files from photobucket, just like from YouTube
