2007 Magnuson Superchargers

Magnuson is working on their superchargers for the new 2007 GM trucks/SUVs. There are a few changes that need to be made to the current kits so they will fit these vehicles. Tuning is also different.

We'll provide more info as we receive it. You can give us a call or e-mail tbyrne@tbyrne.com to get your name on the list to receive one of the first that become available!

Happy Holidays!

I am curious how "tuners" are going to address the VVT issue now on the 6.2. I would think VVT changes everything for fuel trim, actual ignition timing through the crank trigger, etc.

I know it's off-topic but I am still waiting for STS to come out with thiers.

Re: 2007 Magnuson Superchargers

I spoke with them yesterday and they said they would have a supercharger kit out for the 2007 Escalade in a few weeks priced at $5400.

STS is probably going to have a remote mount turbo kit like they offer for the 02-06 trucks, is what the other poster meant I believe.

Re: 2007 Magnuson Superchargers

You just don't get the same power with the rear mounted turbos, but the install is usually easier. Seems hard to believe with the STS-V out there.

Exactly I'd rather have a front mount turbo or a Magnuson supercharger. I've looked at the Rotrex superchargers too.

Re: 2007 Magnuson Superchargers

The STS kits are nice but you won't start to feel boost until about 3000-3500 RPMs while the Magnuson produces boost from just off idle. Your in the power at 2000-2500 RPMs with that.
