Re: 0% APR or $6,500 off all escalade models.

Shit like this like giving the trucks away Burns me. It makes the resale value down to the ground this is why I will keep this truck until it dies or at least for 10 years. It burns me that I work so hard for something and then its not worth anything. I have propertys around the city and they go up. Im not saying that cars should go up but I have a mercedes 500sl and it goes down moderatly but GM it seems that they what to make there old vechiles worth nothing for 2 reason for trade in value and 2nd I dont know. All I know is that Im not buying nothing from Cadillac until this truck gives me my $55000, change the look of the new one and third reason is at the bottom. If there was somebody from GM who is reading this you should do this. On your moderate models give a discount if your hurting for money but not on your high end models. You will make enough money from the volume of the sales of the moderate models And leave the sales of the higher models. Do you see Toyota doing this no why because they are confident on there brand when you give something like this it tells the consumer your cheap not a good bargain.....CHEAP. I like my truck but when Im driving around and see a a owner of escalade parked at a house that is worth the same price as there vehicle it makes me feel that anyone can get this truck and now that the prices are almost the same as a denali the brand CADillac to me is equal to Chevorlet.

I noticed (for 2007 Escy's) that the 3.9% is now 4.9%. Looks like I'm still ahead even 6 months later....

Correct, and that shouldn't happen (on the new design) for quite some time.

The main reason for the big rebate now is just to get the old trucks out of the lot once and for all, so it has to be clearance time. When you have a new truck that's such an improvement over the old, it takes pure cash to get the remaining old ones to move...because they can't sit there collecting dust forever.

You can get good deals are certain dealers now, there are several selling them from $500-$1000 above invoice.

    end of year folks...

the 2007 are out so that means to get rid of 06 they have to cut the price down significantly. Happens EVErY time the new year model comes out.

Exactly my point. And if you remember, the extra cash was almost as large at the end of the '05 model year as well...that's how you clear out expensive left over vehicles.

Shouldn't be a worry for the '07s for a while, especially since they're just beginning their life cycle.

0% is only for 36 months too...not 72 like some of the other models.
