Video Integration into 2007 Escalade

Hi Guys ! Just want to share some of the info when installing video system to 2007 Escalade that did not come with "rear seat entertainment"
So You can have AUDIO / VIDEO running through your factory Radio from aftermarket headrest monitors or drop down TV. without using horoble fm modulators
first I had to duplicate the factory plug

then I had to reprogramm factory radio for the U42 option

POWER AND GROUND WAS CONNECTED AT DISTRIBUTION BOX. LOCATED DRIVER SIDE BY THE KICK PANEL

ACTUALY THERE IS A WAY YOU CAN ALSO ADAPT FACTORY GM REMOTE CONTROL TO OPERATE FACTORY DVD PLAYER WHILE DRIVING.
I WAS OUT OF MEMORY ON MY CAMERA, BUT DEFENATELY POST THOSE PHOTOS, NEXT TIME I'LL DO ONE OF THIS

NON NAV RADIOS ON ESCALADE CAN BE REPROGRAMMED TOO, TO ACTIVATE DVD PLAYER AND AUX INPUT

this looks very intersting it looks like you found a way to watch dvd while driving,i saw a plug and play unit that everyone was having trouble with so can i hook up sirus to the aux jacks also will it show up a screen,also please let me know how to make jack and reprogram radio can the nav work while driving also with out problems, you seem to know your sh@@@t. thanks rich dig60@optonline.net

where can i get the fatory plug and what wires connect together is it a rca plug already coming from headrest dvd or do i need another plug who shall i get to reprogram radio or can i do it myself

What do you have to do to reprogram the radio to add the aux option?

I have a friend that works at a dealership and he is looking into both issues.

I bought those plugs from a friend of my at the cadillac dealership. paid $20 per plug. have no idea where he gets them from. but he also sold me a new version, comes with audio/video in and out. also he sold me ifrared module kit with factory remote control and harness. I'm doing 4 headrest monitors install this coming friday. and I'll tested how it works and let you guys know. and I'll try to make photos of step by step how to reprogramm the radio.
I also did some 9 inch headrest kit with built in DVD by vizualogic. they look so cool. I can get killer deal on those. $1300 shipped to your door. and 3 years warranty

do you have any part # as my dealership said i could not buy that plug so if i have the # that would work

Give us a price for the plug and audio and video cable (for pluging in an MP3 player) and how do you reprogram the radio for the aux option? Thank you

That would be great. What is needed to unlock the radio to get the aux?

i second that been all over memphis,tn. no one seem to know what i have to do to get same picture on all screens that would be very nice of you any cost let me know

I would love one also, especially if it's the connecter with all the wires. I'm in southern california, where are you?
