Would not seem to require any additional hardware besides a switch.
The connection into the output from the factory system is the one I am very confused about. I guess I need to get my hands on the factory audio/video wiring diagram first. Where do I get one? Dealer? Cadillac web site? Expect my installer to have access to one? What is the general location for this connection? I am guessing around the navigation system. So maybe just a wiring diagram of the navigation system would allow my installer to know where to connect?
I am guessing this is where I would use the video amplifier. I would need to amplify the video and audio before input into the VizuaLogic monitors?
Thanks for any help. |
you can't just solder into your aux wiring (possible feedbacks will cause a disaster). you have to cut wires and use a switcher. I used one kind once, very uniqe. that one will allow you still use your factory aux plug, plus relays that are built in, switch sources automaticaly once it sees signal coming in. no toggle switch needed.
for video out, best place to do connections is behined your Nav radio. you cut the wires, then video signal from nav dvd goes to video amplifier, and then out to your factory screen and vizualogic
I'll e-mail you wiring diagramm
