To each his own, although I believe that my 22's feel exactly like stock, if not better.

    Thanks.

Holy crap! What a difference! I have the 17s on and I feel like I'm in my 95 Fleetwood Brougham now! I'm serious!

QUESTION???? If you have the opportunity to purchase an 04' with 29k miles for $35k, or an 07' for $70k, which is the wiser choice? Based on your comparison, an extra $35k doesn't work perfectly. I am shopping now, and I am in love with the new 07', but there are a lot of other current escalde owners buying the new model and ditching their old escalde. Good deals there...
I've been holding off because I think an 08' with all the Kinks out may be the wise investment...Who knows? Its all fun though...

As new models come out there are always good deals on the older models as many owners trade up. Get whatever fits your needs, they are only getting better every year.

Carl, you should take side by side pictures of the 03 and 07. I would love to see what they look like together. Nice write up.

I live in upstate NY (for now) and over this summer I took my escalade (with the 22''s) up to the mtn.s and drove it through some mud and roghed it up a bit, handled it like a charm, accept in small towns, it doesn't like being in such a small space. The minuet we get some snow I will take it out to an empty parking lot and some trails, and get back to you about the air dam and the handling, Another thing I am worried about is going up to our camp on lake ontario during the winter, I have bid on some 20'' tahoe wheels on ebay (LTZ) because the snow up there gets really deep, and I want enough tire to keep me on the unplowed roads..

I got stock 18" 07' chrome wheels off E-Bay (real cheap) and will put Bridgestone Revo's on them for the winter, I have a home in the Old Forge area of upstate NY and the Revo's on my 03' did good in deep snow.

That was the plan but they picked up the 03' while I was in Montana and never got a chance to do that

We don't get up there in the summer that much, spend a lot of the summer in Avalon NJ, but we do a lot of snowmobiling in the winter.
