has anyone purchased these accessories for the '07 ????? we just bought ours and it is beautiful by the way... we were not offered these as options by the dealer and just found them on the cadillac website.. no price next to any of them.. no way to build them in using the 'build your own' option on the website..
those dvd screens in the rear headrests of the passenger and driver's seat look money.... the flip down screen, which we did not get, was not of interest to us because we wanted the screens in the back of the seats eventually.. and those chrome recovery hooks look sweet..
anyone have any info????????????? how much $$$$$ are these???? can you use the screens with the current built in DVD player in the nav system??? are they independent players?? can they all play the same dvd at the same time???????????????????
There is another thread from a guy who just installed the chrome fuel door, i cant remember what he paid for it though. I dont think it was over $200.
I think somebody else just installed some chrome tow hooks and i think they were under $200 also.
I dont know about the DVDs in the seats. I was a lil aggravated when i saw that because it wasnt offered when i ordered my EXT 2 months ago. If it had been, i would have went with them. I got the flip down one coming from the factory.
yea my wife was pissed when she saw that... (the dvd screens in the headrests).. we would have bought those for sure.. they better hook us up with a sweet deal on installing those now... you should cancel the flip down asap and get those instead....
You can buy the head-rest things, already built in to factory head-rests, without damaging your originals, right on eBay, for about 1200 pair. Each has its own DVD drive, and headsets.
you know what... maybe the flip down screen is better... just confirmed with cadillac that the rear headrest screens cannot be integrated to play at the same time thru the speakers in the truck like the flip down screen.. that means no surround sound...
thats pretty cool that you can play independent dvds and listen on the headsets, play your xbox, whatever - but to not be able to listen and watch the same program at the same time is pretty lame.. would be money if there was a way to have both screens going at once, playing the disc in the front, with 5.1 surround.... oh well...
by the way - both screens cost $2500... comes with 2 pairs of wireless headphones and 2 remotes..
