Re: 07 hid headlights

The HID's in the '07 are not 9005, as that is a halogen bulb. The fog lights are not 9005, but some odd numbered bulb, which I haven't found available yet on auto-part listings. You could probably put in a 9005 bult with a little filing of the plastic guides.

I have an HID kit that I took off my Denali before I sold it, and so it has the DS1 bults mounted in a 9005 socket. I'm considering putting this into the fog lights if I don't mind shaping the mount tabs.

Re: 07 hid headlights

I have not removed the HID assembly yet, so I don't know what the base is.

However, the bases for factory HID bulbs are not interchangeable with halogen bulbs. HID kit makers are putting on the Halogen bases simply to market them.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Re: 07 hid headlights

The 03's to 06's were DS1 bulbs, not sure what the 07's are. Someone reported that the 9005's will fit without any filing on the fogs, don't know if it's true or not
