07 Escalade rearview camera/ navigation unavailable

I was told by two different dealers that the rearview camera/ navigation is unavailable. I thought one dealer was pulling my leg but the second dealer said the same thing. Does anyone have any info on this? I know all the ones I have seen on the dealers online inventory all have them. I was wondering if there was a problem with them or if its a supply issue? I found one exactly how my parents want it but my dad is curious as to why you can't order one with the navi/rearview camera right now.

I was just told from a very reliable source that they ran out of camera assemblies thats why they can't be ordered right now.

You would think they would have ordered enough.

Does anyone know where the cam will be located? Near the crest? Hitch?

From the same source, its right above the license plate. I have a high res picture on my computer so i zoomed in. It appears to be mounted just below the crest above the license plate.

if you lookon the cadillac website and others it says the camera, and navigation have limited avail... the first ones made we're all made with them, and now the word is they are going to pause production on that option package until the end of march... that what i heard from the dealers in my area at least.

My order was accepted with nav, but I was told the nav and 22's "MAY" slow getting my truck by a week or two
