I just got my copy of this weeks Automotive News. On the inside cover, there is a full page ad from GM every week. A different GM department head writes about what they're doing. This week, it's Jim Taylor of Cadillac. The meat of the text is about the general rebirth at Cadillac since the Evoq concept in '99 and all the production vehicles since. But in the last paragraph, he writes that "phase two" of Cadillacs renaissance will begin "with the reveal of the iconic new 2007 Escalade next month". He also writes that it is "scheduled to to appear in dealerships next spring".
Finished talking to a customer care rep from Cadillac.com. Told me that she has not seen the '07 Escalades yet (maybe next month), but rumors there is that it will look totally different than the '02-'06 models.
I was planning to purchase a '04 or '05 Escalade by December. If the '07 looks good, I might decide to wait until Spring (new) or Fall (used).
Sadly I lost the link... but I saw a new picture of the 07 rear, uncovered, and back left side. It looked kinda bleh, but I'm not sure couldn't see the front... Also say the 07 tahoe front, which was hideous

Here is the pic. It has been posted here before also.

I agree... unless the 07 grill looks way different that the Tahoe I will not be interested.
Can someone post the link for the '07 Tahoe photos, please.
Can't recall which magazine (doctor's office). I saw an article saying that GM will be putting Hybrid engines on their full-size SUV's. Do you think the '07 Escalades will have that option?
The photo of the back of the '07 Escalade looks more slimmed down compared to the current models. The windows looks a little shorter (length) also. Nice rear bumper.

I'm not sure about a Hybrid, but the '07 Escalades are going to have the "Displacement on Demand". I think there was a link posted on here to the article. They're saying 28mpg on the highway and 20 around town with it.
