    Re: Center Caps

Cadillac changed to colored cap in 2010, IIRC. The factory color center caps will fit the 2007 and newer.

    Re: Center Caps

But the spring ring and clips should be the same diameter and specs to work on the same wheel right?

I don't know, thats why I'm asking. Unless they changed something with the wheel, they should be the same fitment?

    Re: Center Caps

When I lost one cap on my 2009 on the expressway, my dealer had to go thru a whole bunch of different part numbers to find one that would attach correctly and stay on. I had factory 22's.
Losing caps was a common occurrence around that time & some dealers would replace them under warranty since it was a "known defect" otherwise they were about $75. Mine was replaced for free.

    Re: Center Caps

Both will fit, but the newer wheels seem slightly larger because the "older caps" pic 1 are a loose fit on the wheels, I just went out and checked a 2007 and a 2012 and the 07' fit loosely and the 12' was a good firm fit, I have no idea why, maybe different wheel manufacturers.

Mine do not, the spring ring may not be in place on the inside of the caps, it can move and this will cause less pressure to hold the cap to the wheel

Correct, the wire ring has to be inside the clips to hold the cap.

Yea look backwards at my pics in post 5, the spring ring sits between the fingers, it tends to slip inward causing no pressure on the fingers and a loose cap fit on the wheel, you may have to GENTLY bend them outward for everything to be tight again, the ring will kind of snap into it's place
