08 Escalade 12 mpgs sound right??

I have an 08 Escalade with an AFE cold air intake and an Edge Evolution CS programmer and Im averaging around 12 mpgs. Im also running 24" Lexanis which are a bit heavy. I honestly thought I would get way better mileage with the upgrades I installed.

Just wondering if this is normal or if maybe I have something wrong. I drive a combination of highway and city, mostly freeway though and I dont put my foot into it, normal driving.

    Any thoughts?

Your intake more than likely either decreased your mileage, or it did not change it. 12 MPG for your truck and mods sounds about right. I used to get around 10-11.

What's the mileage on your Escalade? It's maybe time for a tune-up (plugs, wires, throttle body, air filter, etc).

It only has 56,000 miles and fresh tune up. I just realized I left the tuner on the extreme setting, gonna drop it to the milage setting and see what happens

From what I'm reading though, 12 mpg is about normal. Price of having a big motor and big body lol

Ya, it's AWD with 24s, so I guess I'm right in line with average
