Drivers side rear view mirror glass

2008 ESV drivers side mirror glass broke. I believe it's heated, auto dimming, folding with signal. That's a lot going on for a mirror. Do I need a whole new mirror, just glass or what? Can I do it myself and where should I order it? Thanks in advance.
I didn't see any other post on the mirror. No more playing ball with my dog by my wife's car. Wish I had hit the Jag.

I had my passenger side replaced yesterday on my 08 esv...motor went out.Gm shipped entire mirror/motor/casing primed. The mirror has to be painted to match. U maybe able to find it on ebay but as far as i know...whole ensemble has to be purchased.

You can just replace the glass. it's easier if you remove the top rear housing then the mirror can be released from it's clips on the motor. Two electrical connectors are connected to the glass for heating and the LED indicators. release the connectors from the glass. Then reverse the proceedure to install the new one. Should take about 30 minutes if you haven't done one before.
