I might be trading my '10 Escalade for a '13 V coupe. I like having the SUV but have been itching to get into something sporty. I prefer a SUV over a car also but I always wanted a V coupe since they came out in 2011. Now with the current deals (you can pick up a $75k. '13 model for $53k) I think I will take a shot at it and wait till they work the kinks out of the new '15 escalades. Plus I have my f350 for my everyday driver so I will still have a truck when I want that truck feel.

Stay with the escalade BEarle. I have a '14 escalade and a '13 cts v coupe and I find myself always heading towards the escalade. It just calls my name. Whenever I drive the V it is fun and is scary fast. We added a few mods but I prefer the comfort, size and height of the escalade. Not to deter you but I'm sure after a few weeks in the V you will realize you prefer and want something bigger.

Yeah I hear you on that, I'm still thinking about it tho. I just love the V coupe. I also really like the 14 V sport, which is obviously more practical.

You can have stupid fast AND practical with a V Wagon ... personally I think those are uber badass, and I prefer them to the coupe or sedan.

I've had a 2005 ESV Plat and now I have a 2008 ESV. My second car has always been a performance sedan and if It didn't land me on the couch every night I would drive the Escalade everyday everywhere. But my wife has claimed it and you know HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE. Get yourself another ESV.

No offence-but there is a 100% chance your 13 V makes no where near 600whp. I only say that because a true 600whp car would be a completely different driving experience. Hop into a V2 and you may hate your 13!

As for the Escalade-its just a different car. I have a V, a 700whp FWD Colt, and working on a 1000+whp LSx swaped RX7. I love them all for different reasons, but the Truck is the best DD of the bunch-by far.

Stock V is 556 ponies. I have upgraded the exhaust, pulley, cai, reprogrammed and tuned I have about 650 horsepower. It's crazy fast and fun. Plus with the K40 radar and defuser I don't have any worries.

I drove the Lexus for about four months and hated it. I really missed the ride, presence, height, looks, and cargo space of the Escalade ESV. In April of 2013 I made the decision to dump the Lexus, and bought a new 2013 Escalade ESV Platinum. Could not be happier to be back in the ESV.

I prefer the ESV to the regular Escalade for the passenger, cargo space and ride. The 2013 makes my fifth ESV purchase to date, and I will continue to drive one.

    Good luck....

The ride on mine is excellent and it does have some get up & go. For hauling people and cargo in comfort it can't be beat. I get a lot of compliments on what a impressive vehicle it is. Very few problems with the truck and those problems were minor. My premium did come with a color matched grille.
