Escalade Strut Grille & Strut Fender Vents (QUESTION ON INSTALLION)

I just bought a escalade strut grille with the fender vents.

Is it true that in order to remove the stock grille, the bumper must be taken off?

I have no idea on how I am going to install the grille & vents.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You plan on having a body shop do it? Or are you doing it yourself? The grill is a pain in the ass to take off. I got mine off without taking the bumper off but broke a few of the grill clips. The clips are a bitch to unlatch. If I were you have a body shop handle it, we are talking about a strut grill here not some cheap eBay crap.

It is not too bad to take the bumper off. I changed mine to a premium black grill and i said took me about three hours to do the swap. My first stab at changing a bumper.

Bumper has to come off. If they told you guys they didn't, is because they broke something and don't want you to notice it lol [IMG][/IMG]

Thank you kazza. I kind of figured the same thing.

Anyway is there a place or anyone in NYC where who can install it for me at a reasonable price?

Your welcome. Bumper comes off pretty easy. Less than 20 minutes. That's the least of your worries. Details in installation is what takes time.

Yeah again the whole Front bumper does not need to be removed because all you are cutting is the insert on the grille that can be popped in and out without the removal of the bumper thats how mine was installed and looks great
