2007 Escalade ESV Service Stabilitrak & Service Traction Control Lights

(I know theres a thread on this issue but mine may be a little different)

Yesterday after driving my 07 ESV about 4-5 hours, I got the "service stabilitrak -service traction control" light"
Lasted about 1 hour then it turned off.
(no check engine light & car still felt normally fine while driving home)
This morning I took it to my mechanic to computer scan it & No codes were found what so ever & no light is back on & car is still perfectly running smooth.

Should I be worried about something? How dangerous is this (if it does happen again) ?

I had that problem, it was the brake cruse control switch, fixed it for 14$ its where the brake pedal is that sends the signal to cruse control, rear lights. Check your cruse control also check your brake lights also it is intermediate meaning that it will cause the service traction and stabilitrak to send check lights sometimes.

Re: 2007 Escalade ESV Service Stabilitrak & Service Traction Control Lights

Ok I went for a drive a couple minutes ago & the stabilitrak & traction control message came on along with that little orange car symbol on dash & check engine light.

I feel a hard thump on the transmission when I went to park and switched gears from (reverse - drive - reverse - drive)

    What can be cause this?

got the dreaded P0011 code. My mechanic looked over everything & replaced some camshaft sensor or something in that sense (not sure) & everything is running smooth. So far so good.

    Hello new york city,

I am sorry that the code and your check engine light came back. Have you thought about taking your vehicle into a dealership so they can look into this concern? If you would like any assistance in working with the dealership or setting up an appointment, please feel free to private message. Thank you very much for your time.

The best thing to do is take it in for diagnosis.

Yea they did that and then didn't charge me because I agreed on the repairs. The diagnosis alone was $110 though.

    Hello new york city,

Thank you very much for taking the time to keep us updated. I apologize that this repair is requiring an out of pocket expense. I know how frustrating those can be. Please let us know how the repair went on Monday when you pick your Escalade up. If you would like us to follow up with your dealership as well, please feel free to private message us with your name, contact info, VIN, and dealership you are working with. Laura and I will be looking forward to your updates on Monday.

2 sensors of some sort & flushing engine oil twice or something (not sure)
Been waiting since monday for my car & it still not done. I called this morning & they said it will be done today.
    I will update when so.

PS: $136 an hour for labor at the dealer. (MAKES NO SENSE!!) The price is ridiculously unreasonable.
