I'd begin by changing the battery

Battery. Extend the range of your FOB (after you put in a new battery) by placing it under your chin, opening your mouth a bit then pressing the button(s)

I've always heard that you can extend the range of the FOB by holding it against your head, and then press the buttons!

It does work! I've did this 15 years ago with older remotes. Still will work today if you must.

Assuming it does work, why not avoid the humiliation, and just press it when you're a few steps closer to the car?

I'm not sure repeatedly transmitting radio frequencies through your skull is necessarily the best idea in the long term either.

If you can't find your car in the lot and it is blocked all around, this will help you find it mor quickly. Beep the horn or flash the lights.

They are moving through your body all the time. I do it to extend the range of the remote start so when I get to the truck the HVAC has kicked in.

Works just as effectively for your garage door opener too! Don't laugh until you try it!
