2008 Escalade ESV electrical going haywire, locks going crazy, stalls

Just purchased a used 2008 Escalade esv with 47,000 ish miles a few weeks back. This morning started fine but once accelerated it acted as if losing power, jerking... and the locks and lights starting going haywire. Recently noticed that the clock will reset itself as well as the dvd player wouldn't work one day and the other it's fine. Also have noticed a jerking/popping noise at times while driving... may be fine for a while but if I let off the gas and accelerate again it will make a popping sound underneath my feet and can feel it as well. Any ideas?? Worried and thinking I should just get rid of it already.

Hope you did not get a Storm Sandy truck. Other than a possible flood vehicle affecting electrical, I would have the battery tested, and all power cables including the negative cable.
